Seven Locks Press was founded on the banks of the Potomac River at the historic town
of Cabin John, Maryland - on a section of the Potomac known as the "Seven Locks Area."
George Washington and Thomas Jefferson once had grand plans to make the Potomac River
the central carrier of commerce. The founder of Seven Locks Press was so impressed
with the series of locks near Cabin John and what they represented, that he named
his publishing company after them.
Seven Locks Press has been publishing unique books on contemporary topics, public
affairs, and the critical issues of our times for over twenty-seven years.
