"Georgina Campbell, the well-known food & travel writer, operates a small publishing company specialising in Irish food and hospitality. It was established in 1998 and the Irish company’s flagship product is Georgina Campbell’s Ireland – the Guide (The Best Places to Eat, Drink & Stay).

Each year she and her husband, the sailing journalist and author W.M. Nixon – who writes the County Introductions for the Guide, and supplies many of the photographs – travel incognito to every county in Ireland to research the next year’s guides, usually accompanied by their Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Nellie, who is without doubt the most widely travelled dog in Ireland!

Epicure Press is the sister imprint to Georgina Campbell Guides, publishing books on cookery & entertaining with an Irish flavour.
