C&T Publishing was founded in 1983 by Carolie and Tom Hensley , with one quilt-book manuscript in hand.

They knew so little about  publishing at the time that they had to borrow a do-it-yourself book from the library.

Authored by Roberta Horton, that original manuscript eventually became the legendary (and still in print) An Amish Adventure. It also launched the company that now sets the industry standard for high-quality books and gifts.

Today, C&T is in the hands of Carolie and Tom Hensley's sons Todd (CEO) and Tony (CFO), publisher Amy Marson, and an enthusiastic staff.

In October 2002, C&T was pleased to announce it had joined forces with Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins of Piece O' Cake Designs, well-known for their fun, fanciful quilt projects. C&T is now the exclusive publisher and distributor of Piece O' Cake's books and patterns.
